sean blewett

Sean has working with Entrepreneurs and helping foster Economic Development in Southeast Alberta for over 14 years. In 2007 Sean took on the role of Manger of Community Futures Entre-Corp and in 2012 also took on the role of Manager of Community Futures Chinook in Taber.

Sean has been a leader in the creation and development of The APEX Regional Innovation Network of South East Alberta.  Sean holds a Bachelor of Business and a diploma in Human Resource Management. 

Pat Guist

Pat has just recently joined our Team as of September 25, 2017. With Community Futures Entre-Corp her main focus will be managing the Self Employment Training program (S.E.) Pat comes to us with 30 years in the Banking Industry with both business/agriculture and retail background. Pat enjoys working with new entrepreneurs to help plan and grow their dreams to reality.


matt hill

Matt joined the team in January 2018 and is the Entrepreneur Advisor based in Brooks.  He is excited about providing the small business owners and entrepreneurs of Brooks with support, training and access to a wider range of resources. 

Matt's previous experience as a business owner and teacher have provided him with the skills and experince to support entrepreneurs in the region.  

katie taylor

Katie developed a passion for entrepreneurship at an early age through the exposure of a third generation family business. Growing up in a rural community, Katie’s interest in helping businesses and organizations realize and achieve their full potential developed into a career.

Her education and experience in marketing, retail management and non-profit organizations have provided her with the critical skills needed to set goals and obtain results.

Tracy Stroud

Tracy is Manger, Business Development at Medicine Hat college and plays a key role within APEX.


Mark keller

Mark Keller leads the Advancement department at Medicine Hat College, work that includes the college’s entrepreneur development centre, and innovation team. He’s worked in the postsecondary system for almost 25 years, has a background in aviation and journalism, and holds an MBA.


Christie Dick

Christie is an Entrepreneur Advisor located at the MHC Entrepreneur Development Centre. She works one-on-one with entrepreneurs, advising and connecting them with the huge array of services available through the SE Alberta Entrepreneurship Incubator Program.


John Stroh

John is a Technology Development Advisor for Alberta Innovates. He works primarily with Small and Medium sized business and Entrepreneurs, providing programs and advice on how they might be able to commercialize their new, innovative technology. John can be found either at the College or downtown MH with the folks from Community Futures Entrecorp.
