#2 Nailing Your Five-minute Pitch
Craft a two to five-minute pitch that captures and keeps your audience's attention. Discover the critical components of a successful pitch, different formats, how to differentiate yourself from the competition, and how to avoid mistakes that can kill the interest you create.
#3 Creating A Compelling Elevator Pitch
Learn how to create interest in your product or service in the shortest amount of time possible. This session explores the power of seven-word elevator pitches and explains how not revealing what you sell right away can be key to attracting customers, mentors, investors, and employees.
Facilitator - David Yiptong
Technology development, commercialization and community engagement have been at the heart of David’s recent work. He has worked with hundreds of technology startups and entrepreneurs, helping them build their businesses and connecting them with resources and supports in the community. Their successes are what drives David’s passion for the sector in Calgary and Alberta.
David brings a wide range of experience having worked in startups, large corporations, and not-for-profits, in industries ranging from manufacturing, energy, and telecommunications. He continues to volunteer to coach students and entrepreneurs through various programs in Calgary.
