Energy and Sustainability: Practical Steps for Southern Alberta Manufacturers - Medicine Hat

Alberta’s energy landscape is changing. Is your manufacturing energy strategy ready?

Join EMC’s Energy Consortium team for a practical introduction to the programs, resources and connections available to help southern Alberta manufacturers make informed energy purchasing decisions and identify opportunities for more efficient, sustainable operations.

Building on EMC’s province-wide Alberta Energy Briefing this month, this session brings the conversation to the facility level. We’ll introduce EMC’s Energy Supply & Procurement program and GreenMFG Network, explore how procurement and energy efficiency fit into a broader sustainability strategy, and highlight ways members can access expertise, learning opportunities and peer connections.

Participants will have an opportunity to share priorities, ask questions and identify a practical next step for their operations – whether reviewing their energy purchasing strategy, better understanding energy use or exploring improvements that support cost and emissions reductions. Presented by: Glenn Sando - Energy and Green Manufacturing Specialist

Our host for this event will be Safety Buzz Campus – find out what safety courses are provided through Safety Buzz and also try your hand at their new Mobile Driving Simulator. Whether you're hiring new drivers, evaluating experienced operators, or promoting road safety - the simulator provides a safe and effective learning environment.

Wednesday, November 25th - 8:30am - 10:30am @ Safety Buzz Campus - Dunmore, Ab.
